Boycott List

How to Be Removed from the Boycott List:

We believe in accountability and action. To request removal, click “Request Removal” and provide a statement outlining the steps your organization will take to correct the concerns raised. We require a clear, measurable commitment to change.

Additionally, we encourage companies to support initiatives that directly benefit American Freedmen. Organizations that contribute to meaningful solutions—whether through policy changes, community investment, or support for advocacy efforts—demonstrate a genuine commitment to progress. Freedmen Nation offers opportunities to engage in impactful initiatives that help drive long-term change.

Each request will be carefully reviewed, and removal will be considered once tangible steps have been taken. Let’s work together toward real solutions.

Misinformation Accountability Policy

The Freedmen Nation Boycott List is a public accountability resource highlighting businesses, public figures, media outlets, and influencers that engage in misinformation, historical distortion, or derogatory rhetoric against Freedmen history, identity, or advocacy efforts. The goal is to inform the public and ensure that influential voices uphold responsible, fact-based discussions.

Criteria for Inclusion

A legal entity (business, media outlet, public figure, or influencer) may be added to the Boycott List if it engages in any of the following:

  1. Spreading misinformation about American Freedmen history, identity, or legal status.

  2. Publishing misleading or deceptive content that distorts historical facts or promotes false narratives.

  3. Engaging in actions, policies, or speech that erase, mischaracterize, or misrepresent Freedmen history.

  4. Making derogatory or defamatory statements about Freedmen Nation, its mission, or the broader Freedmen community.

  5. Refusing to correct inaccuracies after being presented with documented evidence of misinformation.

Listings are based on verifiable, documented statements, media content, or policies that meet the above criteria.

High-Influence Targets

Freedmen Nation places a special focus on large media platforms, social media influencers, and public figures who use their reach to spread misinformation or undermine Freedmen identity and advocacy. The greater the influence, the greater the responsibility.

Review and Potential Removal from the List

Freedmen Nation recognizes the importance of accountability and corrective action. Any listed legal entity may request a review for potential removal under the following conditions:

  1. Acknowledge and correct misinformation through a public statement, correction, or content revision.

  2. Demonstrate a commitment to factual accuracy by adjusting published materials, policies, or public messaging.

  3. Provide evidence of improved content standards in discussions, media, or business practices related to Freedmen history.

All requests for removal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Freedmen Nation’s legal oversight team. Approval is not automatic, and removal decisions are at the sole discretion of Freedmen Nation, a legal entity operating under the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust.
