Boycott: Congressional Candidate Sholdon Daniels for Opposing Reparations for Freedmen

ree

On March 20, 2025, Congressional candidate Sholdon Daniels was issued a formal notice by the American Freedmen Legal Fund, owned by the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust, regarding his public opposition to reparations for Freedmen. The letter addressed public statements he made that directly conflict with the status-based claims of Verified Freedmen and the ongoing legal and legislative work to secure reparative justice.

As a candidate seeking federal office, Mr. Daniels holds a position of influence. His dismissive stance toward reparations is not only a betrayal of historical truth but a direct affront to Freedmen whose ancestors were emancipated from U.S. chattel slavery.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS:

  • March 20, 2025:

An initial email was sent to Sholdon Daniels by the American Freedmen Legal Fund, outlining concerns with his anti-reparations rhetoric and offering him the opportunity to clarify or correct his public position.

  • March 22, 2025:

A certified letter was mailed to Mr. Daniels’ campaign office in Dallas, TX. That letter reiterated the request for correction and stated that failure to respond within 15 days would result in his name being submitted for public boycott by Freedmen Nation.

  • April 15, 2025:

After no response to the March delivery and significant mail delays, a new certified letter was sent to Daniels, resetting the 15-day countdown. This step was taken out of legal fairness and to allow for undisputable delivery.

  • May 8, 2025:

The certified letter was officially delivered and signed for at Mr. Daniels’ Dallas address at 9:46 AM, initiating the final 15-day response period.

  • May 23, 2025:

As of today, Mr. Daniels has failed to respond, correct his position, or engage in any form of dialogue with Freedmen leadership. He has now been officially added to the Freedmen Nation Boycott List.

WHAT THIS MEANS:

Freedmen Nation will actively oppose and publicize the candidacy of Sholdon Daniels, a public official who has chosen to ignore the legal, economic, and historical rights of American Freedmen. Our boycott is not emotional — it is strategic, evidence-based, and rooted in protection of our people.

His name will now be indexed publicly and permanently under searchable boycott terms, including:

  • “Sholdon Daniels opposes reparations”

  • “Boycott Sholdon Daniels”

  • “Freedmen Nation boycott Congressional candidate”

  • “Anti-reparations politicians 2025”

  • “Why Freedmen oppose Sholdon Daniels”

We are building a nation, securing legal standing, and restoring justice to a historically harmed group. Anyone who stands in opposition to that effort, especially while seeking office, will face public accountability.

This boycott is effective immediately.

We do not ask for protection. We establish it.

If you are Sheldon Daniels and want this removed, respond to formal request.
