On March 3, 2025, I sent an official letter to Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) addressing their artist Sonny Digital (@SonnyDigital) and his inflammatory remarks against Foundational Black Americans (FBA) and Freedmen. His comments were unacceptable and directly disrespectful to the very community that has uplifted hip-hop and the culture.
A certified letter is also being prepared for mailing, and we are demanding a formal response from Universal.

You can make your voice heard by sending an email to communications@umusic.com. Let them know that we will not tolerate disrespect from artists who benefit from Freedmen culture while attacking our people.
