Governance Notice: Soulaan Lexicon Stewardship Milestone

The Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust has formally executed and recorded a Lexicon Stewardship & Protection Agreement governing the Soulaan Lexicon. This milestone establishes clear stewardship, authority, and record continuity for the Lexicon as a trust-governed definitional reference.

The Soulaan Lexicon is not a cultural publication, community glossary, or open-source document. It is a governed definitional instrument maintained under trust authority. Its purpose is to preserve accuracy, prevent dilution, and ensure continuity of meaning as Soulaan peoplehood is acknowledged through formal processes connected to Freedmen status verification.

With the execution and notarization of the stewardship agreement, the Soulaan Lexicon now operates within a defined governance framework that:

  • Confirms stewardship responsibility

  • Establishes record integrity and version control

  • Prevents unauthorized alteration, reuse, or misrepresentation

  • Distinguishes stewardship from authorship or public commentary

This action does not announce new classifications, confer status, or modify existing verification processes. Individuals are not made Soulaan through the Lexicon. Rather, the Lexicon serves as a protected definitional reference for peoplehood acknowledgment that occurs after Freedmen status verification and through governed acknowledgment processes.

The Trust emphasizes that definitions contained within the Soulaan Lexicon are not subject to public debate, reinterpretation, or informal adoption. Any use of Soulaan terminology outside the Trust’s governed framework remains unauthorized.

This notice is issued to establish public record of the milestone. The agreement itself is an internal, executed instrument and is not published or summarized for public review.

Further updates, if any, will be issued only through formal Trust channels.
