On May 12, 2025, the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust officially issued its Declaration of Internal Judiciary & Conflict Resolution Authority, marking a historic milestone in sovereign self-governance for Verified Freedmen.
The new declaration creates a permanent judicial body within the Trust—known as the Resolution & Ethical Review Board—to investigate disputes, enforce ethics, and resolve internal Freedmen matters without relying on external courts or state intervention.
Why This Declaration Is Critical:
For generations, Freedmen have been subject to outside courts that neither understood our history nor protected our identity. That ends here.
This declaration ensures that:
Freedmen-to-Freedmen disputes (land, contracts, fraud, identity misuse) will be handled internally.
Trust ethics violations or administrative abuse will be investigated by a neutral board.
Verified Freedmen can file complaints and get rulings through a clear and lawful process.
All decisions are enforceable within the Trust’s system of governance.
What the Declaration Does:
Establishes a Resolution & Ethical Review Board of Verified Freedmen.
Gives the Board authority to:
Rule on identity fraud, land misuse, or Freedmen business conflicts.
Recommend suspension, license termination, or administrative removal.
Issue rulings within 60 days of complaint submission.
Empowers the Primary Trustee with final oversight to protect Trust integrity.
Prevents outside interference while respecting internal due process.
