According to public statements, Jeff Ulbrich’s 21-year-old son, Jax Ulbrich, accessed confidential draft contact information for player Shedeur Sanders through an open iPad at Jeff Ulbrich’s home. Jax later used this sensitive information to make a prank call to Mr. Sanders during one of the most pivotal moments of his athletic career.

The prank involved impersonating the New Orleans Saints’ General Manager, falsely leading Sanders to believe he had been drafted — only to then mockingly tell him he would have to wait longer.
