Woni Spotts

Woni Spotts serves as the Lead Genealogist for the Freedmen Nation PMA, supporting FRFT’s status-based verification framework by conducting documentary research, historical analysis, and truth-based classification support. Her work ensures structural accuracy in verifying American Freedmen and American Aborigine status, in alignment with the Trust’s non-racial, documentation-driven governance model.

A globally recognized researcher, author, and anthropological contributor, Woni has conducted extensive archival research and fieldwork, bringing meticulous expertise to PMA verification processes. Her work helps restore erased histories, document authentic Freedmen lineage pathways, and preserve cultural integrity across all PMA verification initiatives.
