Meet Ahati Iheyinwa
With over 10 years of genealogy research experience, Ahati is passionate about uncovering ancestral histories and preserving the stories of Freedmen families.
Her journey began with discovering an old family tree, inspiring her dedication to tracing ancestral connections and reconstructing family histories.
Today, she helps individuals and families explore their heritage through historical research, lineage documentation, and personalized genealogy services.
Professional Genealogy Services
Ahati offers research services involving:
Freedmen genealogy and family-history research
Ancestral lineage tracing and family reconstruction
Historical-record research and documentation
Custom family-tree development
Identifying missing ancestral connections
Freedmen Status Verification research support
Additional professional genealogy services are planned for the future.
Free Status Verification vs. Paid Research
Freedmen Nation Status Verification remains completely FREE of charge.
However, genealogy research extending beyond the documentation necessary for Status Verification is a separate paid professional service.
Ahati determines her professional fees based on the scope of work. All costs must be agreed upon before paid research begins.
Certification Scope
Ahati’s certification is a private institutional credential issued under FRFT training standards, not a government license or independent third-party certification.
It does not authorize legal services or final Freedmen Status Verification decisions.
