Strategic Advancement: FRFT Signs Letter of Intent with National Lobbying Firm

ree

The Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust (FRFT) has entered a new strategic chapter in its mission to secure rightful repair for the descendants of the formerly enslaved in the United States.

On July 11, 2025, FRFT signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with a nationally respected lobbying and policy engagement firm. This formal step lays the groundwork for a professional alliance aimed at elevating the Trust’s reach, legitimacy, and policy positioning on a national scale.

This engagement is not symbolic — it is structural.

The purpose of the LOI is to establish the terms and framework for a comprehensive services agreement focused on building stakeholder alliances, expanding the Trust’s influence in policy spaces, and reinforcing our position as a leading authority on reparative governance.

While the name of the firm and the specific scope of activities will remain confidential for now, the LOI confirms several key points:

  • Exclusive Intent: FRFT has committed to work exclusively with this firm during a designated window, signaling the seriousness of this relationship.

  • Strategic Positioning: This collaboration is designed to support FRFT’s broader advocacy efforts through professional lobbying, coalition outreach, and high-level visibility.

  • Funding-Linked Execution: Execution of the full agreement is contingent on successful fundraising by a set deadline — reinforcing our commitment to fiduciary responsibility and strategic growth pacing.

This is not a speculative partnership. It is the next logical step in a disciplined, multi-year plan to build the institutional power necessary to secure long-term outcomes for our Verified Freedmen population.

As always, FRFT will proceed with transparency, integrity, and strategy — and we will share future updates once the next phase is confirmed.

This is a Trust-led initiative. We are currently accepting donations to help meet our upcoming funding deadline. Donate to the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust to move this initiative forward.
