Preparing for Freedmen Nation Board Elections

ree

As Freedmen Nation continues to grow, internal structures are being prepared to support representative leadership and long-term governance. Once our verified membership reaches a target threshold, elections will be held to fill key advisory and oversight boards.

These boards will support areas such as compliance, verification standards, reparations policy, economic empowerment, and cultural preservation.

Only Verified Freedmen will be eligible to vote or serve on these boards. The Chairperson of each board will be appointed by the Primary Trustee to ensure alignment with the Trust’s mission and legal framework.

This election process is designed to strengthen our sovereignty, maintain transparency, and reinforce accountability within our self-governed system.
