New AFLF Transparency Report Released — October 2025 Update

ree

Since June 2024, the American Freedmen Legal Fund (AFLF) has been operating at full capacity—filing enforcement actions, supporting Verified Freedmen in legal engagements, and protecting the cultural governance frameworks established by the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust.

As of today, AFLF has raised $31,910.10 in total funds—and every dollar has been documented, tracked, and tied to tangible enforcement outcomes.

We’ve now released the latest Transparency & Impact Report, which outlines both the financials and legal wins achieved under this mandate.

What’s Inside the Report

From June 2024 through October 2025, the AFLF has:

  • Filed 391 pre-litigation actions, including formal cease-and-desist letters, takedown filings, and intellectual property claims.

  • Managed 10 Legal Advocacy Engagements for Beneficiaries within the Trust.

  • Conducted multi-week civil rights investigations and genealogy-based cultural protection campaigns.

  • Raised funds exclusively through small-dollar and targeted donor support—with full transparency.

The updated report shows how all categories of activity—from administrative hours and legal filings to Zoom usage, website development, and public declarations—have been accounted for. There are no salaries, no private perks, and no overhead padding—just real work and verifiable costs.

Why It Matters

AFLF does what others won’t: we protect the name, land, verification process, and reparative positioning of Freedmen through legal and governance channels.

While others talk, we file. While others posture, we document.

This is protection, not protest.
