BREAKING: The Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust Takes Action to Secure The Freedman’s Savings Bank

ree

This week, the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust (FRFT) is sending out certified letters to the U.S. Treasury, President Donald J. Trump, Congress, and other key officials requesting the formal, no-cost transfer of The Freedman’s Savings Bank to the Trust.

For too long, the legacy of The Freedman’s Savings Bank has been misused and exploited, with past administrations using its name for policies and initiatives that had nothing to do with Freedmen Successors. The Freedman’s Savings Bank was created for Freedmen, built by Freedmen, and meant to serve Freedmen Successors exclusively.

💡 The Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust is ensuring that this institution is never again exploited or repurposed for groups that had no historical ties to its founding.

✔ The Trust is the rightful successor to The Freedman’s Savings Bank.

✔ The Bank’s transfer to the Trust will prevent further misuse by government and corporate interests.

✔ Freedmen Successors will control their own financial future—just as it was originally intended.

The government failed to protect Freedmen’s wealth in 1874, but history will not repeat itself. The Trust is taking direct legal and political action to make sure The Freedman’s Savings Bank is restored to its rightful place under Freedmen control.

🛑 No more exploitation. No more rewriting history. It’s time to correct this injustice once and for all.

📢 Tag these officials to demand action:

• @realDonaldTrump (President of the United States)

• @JDVance (Vice President of the United States)

• @ScottBessent (Secretary of the Treasury)

• @MarshaBlackburn (U.S. Senator for Tennessee)

• @SenatorHagerty (U.S. Senator for Tennessee)

• @RepJohnRose (U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 6th District)
