Thessa (T.J.) Pickett serves as the Lead Administrator for the Freedmen Nation PMA, where she oversees national administrative strategy, governance alignment, multi-state coordination, and internal systems development. In her role supporting the Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust (FRFT), she ensures that PMA operations, departmental workflows, and structural processes remain compliant with Trust directives.


With more than two decades of executive leadership across organizational governance, civil infrastructure, community development, and federal-level advocacy, Thessa provides the administrative backbone for FRFT-aligned initiatives. Her prior roles include statewide leadership positions, multi-division operations management, and nationally recognized community programs.


A results-driven strategist, Thessa brings disciplined administrative management, systems-development expertise, and national-scale operational experience—ensuring the Freedmen Nation PMA operates with clarity, alignment, and structural integrity in support of the Trust’s mission.
